Getting access

There are three different ways to get access to PEZ Price Guide, depending on how you found us. Below is the simple version of all three. For the complete walkthrough, including help if something isn't working, visit the Get Started page.

   Were you a member of the old PezPriceGuide.com website?

   Sign in using the exact same email address you used on the old website. You can sign in either by clicking the Google button or by typing in your email address, both ways work fine. The moment you sign in, your collection and wishlist from the old site will already be there waiting for you. Looking at your collection and wishlist is always free, for as long as you like. If you want to start adding new items again, choose a plan on the pricing page.

   Are you a member of the Erin Collects PEZ YouTube channel?

   If you belong to the Legendary Eagles tier ($14.99) or the Loyal Foxes tier ($29.99), you already have full access to this site, and there is nothing extra to pay. First, create a free account here on PEZ Price Guide. Then follow the steps in the two sections below, one is called YouTube members and the other is called Connecting Discord, to confirm your membership. One important note: the Lucky Panda tier does not include access to this site.

   Are you new to PEZ Price Guide?

   Create a free account, it only takes about thirty seconds. Once you do, you can browse the entire price guide at no cost. You can also keep track of up to 10 items total, combining your collection and your wishlist, at no charge. If you would like to track more items, see live values, and receive alerts, you can become a member for $6.99 a month.

Connecting your Discord account

Connecting Discord does two things for you. First, it confirms your YouTube membership, so if you are a Legendary Eagle or a Loyal Fox, you get full access to this site at no extra cost. Second, if you are a paying PEZ Price Guide member, it gives you your special role inside Erin's Discord server. You only need to do this once. Below is a description of every single screen you will see along the way, so nothing catches you by surprise.

   Go to your Account page

   Sign in to PEZ Price Guide, then click Account (you will usually find this in the menu at the top of the page). Scroll down until you see a box titled Discord & YouTube Membership. Inside that box, click the button labeled Connect Discord.

   You might be asked to confirm it's really you

   If it has been a while since you last signed in, a small window may pop up asking you to confirm your identity. It might ask you to type your password again, or to confirm through Google. This is a normal safety step for connecting two accounts together. It is not a mistake and nothing has gone wrong. Simply complete that step, and the process will continue on its own.

   Approve the connection on Discord's website

   Your browser will take you to Discord's own website. Discord will ask whether PEZ Price Guide is allowed to see which account you are and which servers you belong to. Before you continue, look at the top of the screen and make sure the account shown there is your own Discord account. This matters especially if you share a computer with someone else. Once you have confirmed it is the right account, click the button labeled Authorize. Discord will then send you back to your Account page on PEZ Price Guide automatically.

   If you have not joined Erin's Discord server yet

   Once you are back on your Account page, we automatically check your membership for you. If you have not yet joined Erin's Discord server, you will see a message on the screen with a button labeled Join Erin's Discord →. Click that button, then accept the invitation inside Discord. After you have joined, come back to your Account page on PEZ Price Guide and click the button labeled Re-check membership.

   Look for the green success message

   When everything has worked, you will see a green message on the screen. If it says "Legendary Eagle verified" or "Loyal Fox verified, full access unlocked", that means we found your YouTube membership tier and your full membership on this site is now active. If instead it says "Discord connected, PEZ Price Guide role granted in Erin's server", that means you are a paying PEZ Price Guide member and we have just given you your member role on Discord. In either case, you are finished. There is nothing else you need to do.

YouTube members: linking your YouTube membership to Discord

Before PEZ Price Guide can confirm your YouTube membership, Discord needs to know about it. That connection is made on YouTube's side, through your membership perks there, not on this website. If you have never done this before, here is everything involved, step by step. It should take about two minutes.

   Open your list of YouTube memberships

   Using a computer or the YouTube app, go to youtube.com/paid_memberships. This page shows every YouTube channel you have a paid membership with. You can also get there by clicking your profile picture in YouTube, then choosing "Purchases and memberships."

   Find and open Erin Collects PEZ

   Look for Erin Collects PEZ in your list of memberships and click on it. Then look for a link or button related to your membership benefits. It may be labeled "See perks" or "Manage membership."

   Find and click the Discord perk

   Among the list of perks, look for a button labeled Connect to Discord and click it. This is the official, YouTube-provided link that carries your membership tier over to Discord.

   Approve the connection with Discord

   Discord will ask you to sign in, if you are not already signed in, and then ask you to approve YouTube managing your server memberships. Click to approve it. As with the Discord section above, double check it is the Discord account you actually use.

   You will be added to Erin's server with your role

   Once you approve the connection, you are automatically added to Erin's Discord server and given your tier role, either YouTube Member: Legendary Eagles or YouTube Member: Loyal Foxes. This can take a few minutes to show up on Discord's side, so do not worry if it is not instant.

   Now connect Discord on PEZ Price Guide

   With your role now in place on Discord, go back to this website and follow the Connecting Discord section above. We will find your tier role automatically and unlock full access to the site, with nothing extra to pay.

Using the price guide

The price guide is the heart of the site. It lists every dispenser we track, along with its current value, its price history, and live eBay listings for it. That same page also shows your My Collection and your Wish List, you switch between the three using tabs near the top of the page. Browsing is free for everyone, you do not need an account. Here is how to get the most out of it, step by step.

   Search for anything

   Near the top of the Search Guidepage, click into the search box and type a character's name, a series name, or any keyword, then press the Enter key on your keyboard. The search is forgiving: you can type words in any order, or just part of a word, and it will still find what you mean. The result that matches the character's namemost closely is always shown first, so typing something like "bat man loose" still finds what you would expect.

   Switch between the guide, your collection, and your wishlist

   Near the top of the page you will see three tabs to click: Search Guide, My Collection, and Wish List. All three tabs show the same kind of page, just showing different items depending on which one you click. When you are signed in, any item you already own or have wished for shows a small label right on it in the guide (for example Owned ×2), so you always know what you already have.

   Sort and narrow down the results

   Click the All, Dispensers, or Licensed button to pick a category. Use the Sort menu to change the order of the results, your choices are Best match while you are searching, Name A-Z, Recently added, or Price high to low or low to high. Use the Show menu to choose how many results appear on each page, 25, 50, or 100.

   Filter by packaging type

   Below the search box you will see small buttons for each packaging type: Loose On Card In Package Box Set Multi-Pez Bag. Click any of these to show only that kind of packaging. You can click more than one at a time, and the results will narrow to match all of your choices.

   Choose grouped view or a flat list of every item

   Look for the Show Parent switch. When it is turned on, you see one row per character, and clicking that row opens a variation drawer showing every version of that character. When it is turned off, you instead see a flat list where every single variation has its own row or card. While grouped view is on, there is also a button that switches between compact rows and larger picture cards.

   Understand the price range shown on each row

   Each row in the guide is one dispenser character, and that character usually has more than one variation, meaning the same character sold loose, on a card, in its original package, or with different colored feet, head, or stem. The price shown on the row is the range across all of those variations, from the lowest value to the highest. So if a row shows "$5 - $40," that means the least expensive variation of that character is valued around $5, and the most valuable variation is valued around $40.

   Click a row to see its variations

   Click anywhere on a character's row to open its variation drawer, a panel that lists every version of that character. Each variation listed shows its packaging, details like foot color or stem color, and its own individual value in Near Mint condition. Packaging is no longer a separate choice you make, each packaging type is its own variation, with its own price.

   Click a variation to open its full item page

   Click on a specific variation inside the drawer, or click a card if you are using the flat list view, to open that item's full detail page. There you will find photos, the series it belongs to, the year it was made, a description, its value in Near Mint condition, and a section labeled All variations listing every other version of that character, with the one you are currently viewing highlighted.

   Use the page numbers at the bottom to see more results

   When there are a lot of results, they are split across several pages. Look at the bottom of the guide for a row of page numbers and click one to move to that page. You can also use the Show menu near the top to fit more results onto each page, so you need to click through fewer pages.

    Check the price history chart

    Below the price on an item's page, you will find a chart showing how that item's value has changed over time. This can help you decide whether now looks like a good time to buy or sell.

    Watch the related videos

    If Erin has talked about an item on her Erin Collects PEZ YouTube channel, those videos appear right on that item's page. This gives you real, spoken context about the item that you will not get from a number alone.

    Browse current eBay listings for an item

    Item pages also show current eBay listings for that dispenser. Each listing has a small label telling you how good the match is: Direct match means the listing is this exact item, Close match means it is very likely this item (it is worth a quick look at the photos to confirm), and In a lot means the item appears bundled inside a listing with several other items. These are affiliate links, which means buying through them helps support this site at no extra cost to you (see our affiliate disclosure page for the full details).

    Do not overlook Accessories and Books

    The guide is not only dispensers. It also includes related accessories and PEZ reference books, and item pages link out to these curated products when they are relevant.

Your collection and your wishlist

Your collection is the list of items you already own. Your wishlist is the list of items you are hoping to find. Both are simply different views of the price guide page, reached by clicking the My Collection tab or the Wish List tab. Everything you already learned about searching, sorting, and filtering in the price guide section above works here too. Both lists are used for alerts and value tracking, and both are free to start.

   Add a variation straight from the price guide

   In the price guide, click a character's row to open its variation drawer, then click the button labeled + Add next to the exact variation you own. Choose a condition and a quantity, then click Add to Collection. If you do not own it but want it, click Add to Wishlist instead. You no longer choose packaging separately when adding an item, the variation you pick already includes its packaging. These same buttons also appear on every individual item page. If you are not sure which condition to choose, see the grading guide, it explains the five condition grades and how to count faults.

   Add several variations at once

   Inside the variation drawer, click the checkbox next to each variation you want to add. Then click Add to Collection in the bar that appears at the bottom (items are added as Near Mint condition, quantity 1, and you can adjust that later by adding the item again), or click Add to Wishlist instead. This is a fast way to add a whole set at once. Adding several items at a time is a feature for members.

   Know the limits for free accounts

   A free account can keep track of up to 10 collection items and 10 wishlist items, this is a real trial, not just a teaser. Members can track an unlimited number of items. Items that were carried over from the old website do not count against this limit, so viewing your migrated collection is always free, even without membership.

   Understand what you see in your collection list

   On the My Collectionpage, each row shows that variation's condition, its packaging, and a column labeled Qty(short for quantity). If it shows ×2, that means you own two of that exact variation. If you own three of something, add it with a quantity of 3, and your collection's total value will include all three.

   Watch your collection's value grow (members)

   Members can see a running total value for their whole collection, a list of their top items by value, and how that value has changed over time, all on the dashboard page. Think of it as treating your collection like a portfolio.

   Use the search bar to find items quickly

   If your collection is large, use the search box at the top of the collection page to filter down to just the items you are looking for. This is much faster than scrolling through a long list.

   Remove several items at once

   Click the checkbox on each row you want to remove, or click the checkbox in the header row to select every item currently shown. Then click the button labeled Remove selected. You will be asked to confirm once, and then it is done.

   Export your data to a spreadsheet (members)

   Members can export their collection and wishlist as a CSV file, a format that opens directly in spreadsheet programs. This is useful for insurance records, personal spreadsheets, or simply for peace of mind. Your data belongs to you.

The AI Assistant

The assistant is a chat window you can type questions into, and it already knows everything in the price guide. Members can ask it real questions and hand it small tasks. Every account, including free ones, can use it to suggest ideas for the site. Here is everything it can do for you.

   Ask about values, grading, or your badges (members)

   Members get the full version of the assistant. You can type a question like what a variation is worth, how a condition grade works, or how close you are to earning your next badge. It looks at the same information the rest of the site uses and answers you in plain, everyday language.

   Take a photo to identify a PEZ dispenser (members)

   Not sure what you are holding in your hand? Attach a photo of it in the chat and type "what is this?" The assistant compares your photo against the guide and shows you the closest matches. Click one of them to open its full item page.

   Add an item to your collection just by typing (members)

   Tell the assistant what you own, for example type "add the loose Batman to my collection". It will suggest the exact variation it thinks you mean, and ask you to confirm before anything is saved. Adding to your wishlist works the same way, just tell it what you are looking for.

   Suggest a new feature or report a problem (everyone)

   Every account, including free ones, can describe an idea or a problem to the assistant in your own words. It will ask a couple of follow-up questions to understand what you mean, then turn your message into a clear request and send it to the team. There are no forms to fill out.

   See, change, or cancel requests you have already sent

   Type "show my requests"to see everything you have submitted so far. You can then change or cancel any of them just by asking, for example typing "cancel that one." You can still make changes while a request is new or has just been approved. Once the team has started working on it, it can no longer be changed.

Alerts and notifications

Look for the bell icon at the top of the page, that is your notification center. A small badge appears on it whenever something you care about happens. Alerts are a feature for members, they exist so the site does the watching for you, and you do not have to keep checking things yourself.

   Click the bell to see your notifications

   Click the bell icon in the navigation bar near the top of the page to see your notifications. Notifications you have not read yet are highlighted. Click any notification to jump straight to the item or listing it is about. You can also see the complete list on the notifications page.

   Know the four kinds of alerts

   Wishlist item listed means someone has listed a dispenser from your wishlist for sale on the member marketplace. Wishlist item on eBay means a matching eBay listing has appeared for something on your wishlist. Your listing sold means a buyer has purchased one of your marketplace listings. Value up means an item you own has gone up in value in the guide.

   Choose which alerts should also email you

   Notifications inside the site are always turned on. If you would also like an email for certain alerts, go to your Account page and look for the box titled Email Alerts. There you will find a checkbox for each alert type, click any checkbox to turn that email on or off. Your changes are saved right away, there is no separate save button to click.

   Why alerts are only available to members

   Alerts work by constantly checking the marketplace, eBay, and price data on your behalf. That ongoing work is part of what your membership pays for. Free accounts can still look through everything by hand at any time, members simply get told the moment something important happens.

Contributing and earning credits

The price guide gets better because collectors like you help improve it, and we pay you back with membership credit for contributions we approve. Did you spot a wrong price, notice a missing item, or find an item without a photo? That is a chance to earn some credit.

   Start a contribution

   Go to the Contribute page and choose what kind of thing you are submitting: a fix or price update to an item that already exists, a brand new item that is not in the guide yet, or a photo for an item. Members can also start a contribution simply by asking the assistant, it will write up the contribution for you and hand you a filled-in form to look over and submit.

   Check the credit banner before you submit

   While you are filling in the form, a banner at the top tells you in advance whether this particular contribution will earn credit, and how much, or explains exactly why it will not (for example, if that item's prices were already updated within the last 14 days). You will never be surprised after the fact.

   Submit it and wait for an admin to review it

   Every contribution is checked by an admin before it appears on the site. That review is what keeps the guide trustworthy. You can check the status of anything you have submitted on the contribute page at any time.

   Earn credits once your contribution is approved

   Approved contributions earn credit as follows: a brand new item earns 3 credits, a photo earns 2 credits, and a fix or price update earns 1 credit.

5. 5

   Trade in 30 credits for a free month of membership

   Credits add up automatically as you contribute: 30 credits become 1 free month of membership. If you contribute regularly, your membership can effectively pay for itself over time.

Badges and collecting

As you build your collection, you earn badges, small rewards that celebrate what you have built. All of your badges live together on your badge wall. Here is how the badge system works.

   Visit your badge wall

   Click Badges to see every badge you have already earned, as well as the ones you are still working toward. You can sort the list by most recent, by how rare a badge is, or by how close you are to finishing each one.

   Earn the three core collecting badges

   Three badges reward how you build up your collection. The Collector badge is earned by owning 3 or more variations of one character. The Completionist badge is earned by owning every current variation of a character. The Variation Hunter badge is a badge that keeps growing, it levels up as you own 2 or more variations across more and more different characters. Note that owning just a single dispenser only adds it to your collection, it does not earn a badge by itself, the Collector badge only starts once you own a third variation of that character.

   Meet your companions

   Some badges take the form of characters that grow alongside your collection. For example, Roxy the dog grows as you collect dog dispensers, Birdie grows as you collect animal dispensers, and Dillbert appears the moment you earn your very first badge. There are also theme badges, seasonal badges, value badges, and build-a-robot part badges to collect.

   See how rare each badge is

   Every badge shows how rare it is among all collectors on the site, ranging from common all the way up to legendary, so you can tell when you have earned something special.

   Add photos to fill in a ghost badge with color

   A few badges require a photo before they count as fully earned. When you first qualify for one of these, it appears in gray, like a ghost outline of the badge, until you add photos of the items involved. Once you add your photos, the badge fills in with full color. These ghost badges never expire, they simply wait until you are ready to add your pictures.

   Enter unlock codes from Erin's videos

   Erin sometimes hides special unlock codes in her videos and at events. You can type one of these codes into the box on the badges page, or simply tell the code to the assistant, to unlock the matching badge. Some codes also require that you already own the items shown in that video.

   Share your collector profile with others

   If you choose to make your profile public, other collectors can view your badge wall at an address that looks like /collector/your-username. This gives you a shareable page showing off everything you have earned.

Selling on the marketplace

The store is really two things in one place: a set of curated PEZ products we recommend, and a member-to-member marketplace where collectors sell directly to other collectors. Here is how to sell an item, step by step.

   Join as a Legendary Eagle or a Loyal Fox

   Selling on the marketplace is only available to Legendary Eagles and Loyal Foxesmembers of Erin's YouTube channel. You can join from the pricing page. If you are already a member, go to your Account page and connect Discord so we can confirm your membership tier. Selling unlocks automatically the moment your tier is confirmed.

2. 2

   Set up how buyers will pay you

   Buyers pay you directly, not through this website, so you need to add a way for them to pay you. On the Account page, add your PayPal, Venmo, or Wise handle, along with the country you ship from. These details appear on your listings so buyers know exactly how to pay you.

3. 3

   Create a listing for your item

   Create a listing for any dispenser found in the guide. Pick the item, set your asking price, choose its condition and packaging, add photos and a description, and set a shipping cost. Your listing shows the guide value right next to your asking price, so pricing your item honestly tends to be rewarded with a quicker sale.

4. 4

   Let buyers find your listing automatically

   Your listing shows up in the store automatically. If the item you listed is on someone else's wishlist, they receive an alert the moment you list it, so motivated buyers come find you without you having to do anything extra.

5. 5

   Mark the item sold once it's paid for

   Once you have arranged a sale and been paid, mark that listing as sold so it comes off the marketplace. The buyer receives a notification, and your listing history stays clean and organized.

Account and billing

Everything about your account is managed from one place, the Account page. Below is what you can change there, and exactly where to find it.

   How signing in works

   You can sign in either with a Google account or with your email address. Either way brings you to the same account, as long as the email address matches. This matching email address is also how a collection migrated from the old site finds its way to you.

2. 2

   Manage your paid subscription

   PEZ Price Guide membership costs $6.99 a month and is billed through a payment processor called Stripe. From the Account page, you can open the billing portal to update your card on file, view past invoices, or cancel your membership, all without sending an email or waiting for a reply. If your access instead comes from a YouTube membership, you manage that membership on YouTube itself, there is nothing billed to you here.

   Change your email preferences

   The box labeled Email Alerts controls which notifications are also sent to your inbox by email. See the Alerts section above to see what each type of alert means.

   Connect or disconnect Discord

   The box labeled Discord & YouTube Membership is where you connect Discord, re-check your membership, or disconnect Discord. One important caution: if your access to this site comes from a YouTube membership, disconnecting Discord will pause that access right away, because we can no longer confirm your membership tier. You can reconnect at any time to restore your access.

   Update your seller settings

   Your payment handles and the country you ship from also live on the Account page. See the Selling section above for more detail.
